Movie Fink – This Means War

This weekend, I went to see “This Means War” and let me just start off by saying that I loved it. It wasn’t what I was expecting it to be, which was more along the lines of a romantic comedy. It was more of an action comedy with an excellent amount of romance.

The movie carries two plots, the main plot being a match between two CIA agents, FDR (Chris Pine) and Tuck (Tom Hardy) who are as close as brothers, to win the heart of Lauren (Reese Witherspoon). The sub-plot involves that of a terrorist that is in pursuit of revenge after his brother is killed.

After they both try sabotaging each other’s dates in an attempt to come out on top, their friendship comes into question. Lauren, who has no idea these two guys even Know each other, has to make a decision on who she will continue to date. Will she even choose one of them after she finds out they are friends? Hmm… I won’t spoil the ending for those of you who haven’t seen it.

The movie also stars Chelsea Handler as Trish, Lauren’s BFF, if you love Chelsea, you’ll love her even more in this movie. “This Means War” is totally hilarious, the audience in the theatre (not to mention me) was laughing out loud all the time.

Nevertheless, I’d definitely recommend this movie to anyone who wants the funny or would prefer something other than the traditional romantic comedy.
